Choose Natural Skin Care for Anti-Aging

Have you ever taken the time to consider how many chemicals you’re intentionally exposing your body to every single day? Between hair care, skin care, and beauty products, you can use up to 10 (or more!) products in a single morning. This can add up to as many as 500 chemicals every single day. With this regular onslaught of unnatural chemicals, is it any wonder that issues like hyperpigmentation, dryness, acne, and signs of premature aging are such common nuisances?

While it’s true that the products that you buy at your favorite drugstore, department store, or website are generally deemed safe, the truth is that in the United States, skin care is not regulated. Companies can label their products “tested” and “clinically proven,” but from a legal standpoint, those labels are virtually meaningless. The cosmetics companies are expected to self-regulate, and as a result, they often use or sell unsafe ingredients and only get in trouble if they’re caught.

Keep reading for five reasons to use natural skin care.

1. Your Skin Is Your Largest Organ

Anti-Aging Black Skin Care

Your skin is an organ that absorbs much of what it is exposed to. In fact, some experts say that up to 60% of the chemicals we put on our skin is absorbed into the bloodstream. Because there is almost no outside regulation, researching the potential damage that can be caused by these chemicals and how they interact with one another is extremely difficult. By using natural skin care products, you can reduce your toxic chemical load.

2. Natural Skin Care Is More Ethical

Plastic packaging, animal testing, ingredients that contribute to permanent rainforest loss, and microplastics that ultimately end up in the ocean are among the top ethical problems that are associated with conventional skin care. We don’t live in a vacuum. Our choices, even the seemingly little ones like the cosmetics we use, have a big, lasting impact on the world around us. While conventional skin care companies have little motivation to ensure safe and ethical practices, companies like BioTRUST Naturally Honest are on a mission to act in a way that is ethical and environmentally responsible.

3. Natural Skin Care Products Have Fewer Fillers

Best Anti-Aging Skin Care Couple in Love

Conventional skin care products are loaded up with fillers that add bulk but not necessarily benefits. These additives, which are used to make the product look or smell more appealing, may account for as much as 90% of the actual product. On the other hand, natural skin care products contain an average of 80-90 percent active ingredients, meaning that you get much more of what you’re paying for.

4. Natural Skin Care Feeds Your Skin

Natural skin care products are more likely to “feed” your skin, providing it with essential nutrients that it needs rather than simply temporarily masking problems. They’re formulated with nature-based ingredients that are gentle, effective and more easily metabolized by the body, effectively taking care of skin problems without the use of chemicals that can cause irritation, dryness, or inflammation.

5. Natural Skin Care Works Better

Our bodies are far more efficient at using natural substances, which are whole and complex and contain everything they need to be effective. In conventional skin care products, these chemicals are isolated and are often more highly concentrated than nature intended. This can confuse the body or cause unwanted side effects. When properly balanced, natural ingredients are effective, nourishing and sustaining of the skin rather than overtaxing and depleting it.

  1. I’ve always been of the opinion that most skin care products are harmful to the body. It’s laughable when I see clinically tested on the label because almost everybody says that this days but who actually can verify this.

Its always preferable to use natural products as this will contain minimal destructive chemicals.

Sin you’re recommending bio trust products I believe we can all be sure that it is 100 natural to keep or skin fresh and glowing

  2. Getting the perfect blend of natural products for anti-aging is not common knowledge . Different natural remedies have been formulated to tackle the aging process,  few have yielded positive results while most have not. however the result are still better than the chemicals of artificial cosmetics.  Knowing the right ingredients and mixture for the natural remedy is the most important of all.

  3. Thanks Phil. You did a splendid job here. Like you rightly said, beauty products we use (especially women) are numerous and often contain unnatural chemicals which are not healthy for the skin. Going natural is always the key. Sadly enough, many ignore natural products either because it is not well scented or as alluring as conventional beauty products. Our skin is our greatest asset and as such should be taken care of properly.Natural skin care makes one to age with grace and is definitely more ethical. Again someone using natural skin care product,  will not have fear of any form of skin disease like cancer and the rest.

    1. Products like BioTRUST’s Ageless Glow don’t just protect and enhance your skin but feel great as well. Most people end up appreciating that they are not full of some overwhelming sweet smelling chemical that adds nothing to their effectiveness.

  4. I’ve always been a firm believer in using natural ingredient be it for skin, what you eat, and other other things.

So I’m not surprised if by using natural ingredients to help your skin would give all the benefits you mentioned in this post.

I’ve never heard of this brand before you mentioned biotrust, but it seems something worth trying and definitely something I can get my wife for her birthday lol.

    1. BioTRUST is a great company. Ethical and with natural products that work. I’m sure your wife would love getting a supply of Ageless Glow as a birthday gift.

  5. Thank you for this useful content, I learnt new things to be honest, just getting to know that the bloodstreams absorb most chemicals in the skin. I totally agree with you that natural products should be used to treat the skin so as to avoid the side effects of premature aging that comes with using too many chemicals.

  6. Great post and good info.

I never trust these products, that is why my wife always buys bio ones, and she never has problems.

She tried it once with one that wasn’t and she had an allergic reaction, so I think that already say enough. The verified stuff they say is just for commercial purposes and that is all.

    Anyway, thanks for sharing!

  7. Hey thank you for this article. It seems like there is a million different ways to take care of my skin and honestly I don’t know which direction to take. All i know is Ive wasted a lot of money and my skin looks the same. I don’t necessarily need a miracle, but i just want something that will increase the life of my skin and put off wrinkles for a couple extra years. Can you steer me in the right direction?’

  8. Thank you for this article, Phil. You’re right about using an ethical product and not exploit and destroying the environment for the sake of it. And I never knew certain skin products exposes the body with different types of toxin and at an astonishing 500 types of chemicals. That’s an eye-opener. I enjoyed reading this article and has informed me a lot. Thank you for this.

  9. Thanks for the information you provided here, I bookmarked this site so I can show it to my wife, she is really into anything natural and I believe she is going to want to get that book once she looks at this site. She deals with skin issues that she see’s a dermatologist to treat and I think this site will spark her interest. Great information!

  10. I really like the way you talk about the naked truth that many people are afraid of talking about, currently in the beauty industry many of the skin care products are highly concentrated with chemicals that can cause effects to our skin, but they still sell due to that they have a clinical test mark of which no one can prove it, this makes it risky for people using the products, bit with the highlighted steps and well explained content on the anti aging skin care products I find relatively safe and more appealing to the costumer at the highest percentage of the product is directly natural, and due to this I find it more appealing to me for purchasing my skin care products from you.

thank you for posting this, it’s of great help.

    From Joy gateru.

  11. Natural skin products are good but how were they produced or manufactured? How sure are we that these natural skin products are safe. How sure are we that they are actually natural? How sure are we that no unwanted chemical is added there?  How sure are we that they are not posing any threat to our skin just like so many other products out there in the market.

    1. I totally agree. I will only ever use products that are chemical free and ethically produced, including not tested on animals. That’s why I can recommend BioTRUST’s Ageless Glow. BioTRUST are a trusted, ethical company. There’s a lot more detail on their website.

  12. Yes, the skin is our largest organ, and we really must learn to treat it with kindness. Learning through my kids’ eczema, how distressing it can be when our body is not healthy and it chooses to purge out certain toxins through the skin, causing intense itch and inflammation.

Will certainly be checking out BioTRUST’s ageless glow serum, thanks for this review.

  13. Once again I have come across my best preffered posts or reviews. I agree with you 100% that in the current market especially in the beauty industry, there are many products being brought to the market that are unfit for our skins, most of them are highly concentrated with chemicals unlike them being natural as we expect and as a result we may find ourselves especially we ladies affecting our skins in the name of improving it. As I went through this post I have come to learn more about the  natural skin care, the issue I have is where exactly can we get this product in its original form?

i really appreciate your help in this post I must say I have learnt something new from it, thank you.

    From Joy.

    1. Thank you, Joy. Yes, unfortunately some women are actually aging their skin by smothering it with chemical laced products. If you want to get BioTRUST’s totally natural and ethical Ageless Glow, please click here.

  14. That second paragraph summed it up so nicely. They really only do get in trouble if they get caught. But most of the time they don’t. So, that’s definitely an issue. Thus, it’s always best to buy from reputable companies even if their product on the paper seems to be a little worse than an alternative of another supplier.

In truth, I heard many different not sure if they were studies, but some kind of experiments that essentially proved that all kinds of stuff can penetrate our skin once they’re applied to it and find themselves either in the bloodstream or in the organism in general. Thus, all those unnatural synthetics that get applied to the skin, get themselves into our organisms and account for all kinds of health problems later on down the line.

My point is – I wanted to emphasize your message. It’s so, so incredibly important to use such products the ingredients of which you would not mind getting in your system. Meaning they wouldn’t affect you adversely if they happened to.

Thank you for all the insights, cheers!

    1. Thanks, Matiss. There’s no doubt that what we rub on our skin gets under our skin. It’s just another argument for using only natural products.

  15. We live in an era whereby most companies producing skin products care more on how much they actually sell rather than how their products would benefit mankind and if it would be of any harm to our wellbeing. We make use of these products on a regular basis and very few are aware of the dangers they pose to how health.

Like you said, no wonder we hear things like hyperpigmentation, dryness, acne, and signs of premature aging. I can assure you that there are even more that were not mentioned in this post. It is really good to hear that BioTRUST produce their products with natural ingredients. This is much better than those produced with ingredients that are not natural and they would definitely be more healthy to be used on the skin.

    1. Yes, the health aspect is a big thing. As is the ethical nature of the company. But the fact is that the product simply works well.

  16. Natural ingredients definitely have the upper hand in my opinion because you know then that you aren’t pumping harmful chemicals into your body not knowing exactly what effect, or even, side effects they will have on your body.

I have been well informed by your article and have learnt a few more facts about hyped skin care products on the market and am grateful to know the difference.  Being an enthusiastic gardener myself, I immediately noticed the Aloe Vera in the picture and know that it is very good for many purposes especially on the skin.  Take for instance blisters or burns, Aloe Vera soothes the skin when applied.  If we focus more on natural products, we cannot really go wrong.

Going with natural ingredients gets my vote!
